Preserving the future
By nurturing a viable business through sustainable farming we hope to preserve the agricultural values and highlight the unique culture and beauty of the Green Cauldron region.
Our aim is to play a part in ensuring that our region maintains its position at the forefront of high quality food produce, both nationally and internationally.
Through participation in the Australian Sub Tropical Coffee Association, in conjunction with the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation, we are deeply involved in the development of a strategic plan for local coffee, assisting in the building of a viable, regional food industry to showcase the unique tastes of our area.
Forming a partnership with Southern Cross University, Green Cauldron is also investing heavily in the rural future of the region. Our support of a Post Doctoral Fellowship aims to move the industry “beyond best practice” through scientific research and development.
Green Cauldron has already commissioned the first ever Sub-Tropical Coffee Growers Manual to critically examine and advise on all aspects of coffee farming operations within our region.
